How to get involved

A brighter future for families in Burkina Faso

In Burkina Faso, West Africa, a vegetable garden built by local women is growing nutritious food and benefiting the whole community.

Every year 2 million children die from hunger. A further 180 million children don't develop properly as a result of malnutrition. It shouldn't be like this. Yet we know what the solution is, and we know it's affordable.

This vegetable garden is run by local mums as part of a drive to reduce child hunger in drought-hit Burkina Faso. It illustrates just how aid from countries like the UK is helping to shape a brighter future for families around the world who experience hunger.

It's time to make a noise and ask the UK Government to take action and keep its promise to spend 0.7% of our national income on aid.

IF we give enough aid and find new ways to support poor countries to cope with climate change, children will stop dying from under-nutrition.

Take action today

Ahead of the Budget on 20 March, please email your MP to press them to raise the issue of aid with the Chancellor.

Thank you.
